There are categories for male, female and mixed teams, all grouped by age.
There is a special focus on families racing together with parent or grand paraent and child teams and sibling teams.

Invite Your Friends! – PSA Challenges the Town!!
The Annual Telemark Festival will be held at Pebble Creek Ski Area on Saturday March 14, 2015.
The Classic Terrain Race will be held at 1:00 pm. This race brings together the skills of telemarking and cross-country travel. The course is a combination of slalom gates and uphill gates.
After the race, join in the fun of tie-dying your event T-shirt in vats on the deck. A lively post-race party will follow, with an awards ceremony and draw prizes.
Race registration will be held in the Lodge from 10:30 to 12:30. Registration fee is $25. Fee includes a long sleeved T-shirt, race entry, and the post race party. Everyone is eligible for prize drawings, but you must be present to win. Entrants must have a valid lift ticket or season pass.
For those not wanting to race, the Festival is a time for telemark enthusiasts to get together and enjoy the slopes with fellow telemarkers.
Kids Go For the Gold
Kids Are invited to experience the excitement of racing at Pebble Creek. Stacy Smith’s Fun Races for Kids will be held four times this season, Saturdays January 3rd& 24th, February 7th & 28th, March 14th.
Kids age 16 and under can participate on either skis or snowboards. The course is an easy course set in the Aspen area. There is no race fee, all the kids need is a lift ticket. Sign up on race day in the Lodge by 1:00. Race time is 1:30 with awards at 3:30
Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded each day.
The Stacy Smith’s Races for Kids are sponsored by the Pocatello Ski Association through a fund established by Stacy Smith to encourage skiing for youth. Stacy’s Run at Pebble Creek is named for Stacy Smith.
The races are managed by PSA President, Liz Benson. She is assisted by Senior Olympians, Mark and Jody Olson. They provide inspiration, encouragement and support to all kids entering the races.
At 2:00pm Dummies mounted on skis or snowboard will cruise a downhill course with a jump at the end. Judging will be based on style, big air, staying on course, staying intact and closeness to a target. The chief judge TBA Voting for the Peoples’ Choice Award will be from noon until 2:00pm.
